Choose a Logo that Builds Brand IdentityWritten on January 11, 2017 at 8:57 am
There are few things more exciting than having a designer create a logo for your new business. It’s one of the most important stages in the quest to build brand awareness. When I renamed my company MaureenInk Marketing, I wanted a logo that looked good in an email signature as well as on a website banner.
Because every logo conveys a message, I wanted mine to convey “marketing” with an emphasis on “web content” and “strong writing.” It had to look digital, contemporary and creative. I knew I’d be using my logo for a long time, maybe the rest of my life, so it had to be one I loved, in colors that match my image. Below is what the designer came up with, and as you can see from this site, I chose the one in the upper left hand corner. If and when your startup needs a logo, choose one that strengthens your company identity.
