About Me

I’m Phil, from Essex in the UK. I started my working life in a retail background dealing with the public. I then moved on to multiple civilian roles within the Police for 15 + years, up until the end of March 2021. As you can imagine, I have seen and dealt with my fair share of people who have been going through various life challenges. I have witnessed people struggling with fears and anxiety; for example, people wanting to push themselves and make a career change and not knowing where to start. These experiences supporting friends and family have inspired me to become a Life Coach.

I have a passion for sport and for helping people which brings me to where I am today; wanting to support my clients to reach their ambitions. I am an avid tennis player and have been since the age of 13 where I have competed in LTA tournaments and more recently I have been winning trophies and have been a runner up in many tournaments at my local club.

Whilst playing I have had to deal with pressure, my own self-confidence/self-belief and finding ways of achieving my targets. I have trained with a local football team in my youth and more subsequently trained as a level 1 football coach. In 2013 I challenged myself to complete a triathlon, whilst training for this I had a cycling accident where I was knocked off of my bike. Thankfully I managed to recover and complete the event for which I raised nearly £1000 for charity. I also love to play pool and have gained several ten-pin bowling trophies over the years.

From my teenage years to now, I have always been a person who cares and wants to support. I have brought this into my working life and will always provide the best possible service that I can. Now, running my own business as a Life Coach means that I can use this passion by helping my clients to get them from where they are now to where they want to be and to reach their goals/targets/ambitions, whilst providing them with the guidance and tools they need to develop their skills whilst planning and helping them to build a strategy for a successful future.

If this sounds like you, then I look forward to working with you.

Gianni Di Stefano - Customer

I am proud to say that since coaching with Phil, I was able to give a face to my imposter’s syndrome and give it also a voice. I have learned that I cannot simply ignore it, but I need to be aware of it because it is trying to keep me safe when I want to get out of my comfort zone.

Luke Brown - Customer

I always felt comfortable and safe in his sessions, and this helped us to further get down to the nitty-gritty and more challenging topics. He was great at reminding me who was by reminding me of my accomplishments which really helped my confidence. Phil is an all-round great guy and great at what he does. I recommend him highly!

Jini - Customer

Phil asked me powerful questions and made me think about all the possible ways of achieving my dreams or overcome my fears. I have both limiting beliefs & empowering beliefs which I get aware of and could work on it. Phil has a professional approach and was a good listener and empathetic towards my situation.

I went to Phil looking for coaching on how to deal with performance anxiety and lack of motivation in competitive sport. Through reflection on why I found comfort in predictability, Phil helped me identify that I restricted what I could achieve in order to keep my situation familiar; so, I could stay in control of it all the time.

Ryan Smith - Customer

Together, we identified ways to balance my time to ensure I spent sufficient time studying and allowing myself time to focus on other areas in life, such as fitness and social/leisure time. One way this was achieved was by creating a planner in which I organised my time into study, work, fitness, and downtime.

Phil is very approachable and I feel we have great rapport. This has allowed me to be myself and open up about limiting beliefs and ive trusted him to be non-judgmental and felt he believed in me and my ability to achieve. I would without a doubt recommend Phil as a coach to anyone. I have gained so much from our time together- I have most definitely grown personnally as a result.
